POOL CLOSED

Due to recent Vandalism, the Pool is officially closed until further notice.

Greetings, Cobblestone residents, & especially parents of Cobblestone children.

Our Secretary, Joel Berger, has been checking the Pool every morning & some evenings since Pool opening day. There has been a low level of trouble in the form of floating furniture, trash, broken furniture & minor vandalism. This has been discussed with the County Sheriff, and we are ready to place the pool under surveillance.

On 5-11-06 some time after 6:30 PM, the Pool house & Pool deck were "trashed". There is toilet paper all over the pool house floor & the deck, & the two toilets are dirty. Some one played catch with a roll of toilet paper, and most disturbing is that apparently someone urinated on the Men's room floor.  Not near the toilet, just on the floor in front of the bench.

Please look your kids in the eye and

 ask them what they know about this incident.

The pool will remain closed until the HOA is satisfied the child’s parent has addressed the matter.  IT is unfortunate that all the homes are being penalized because of one child within our neighborhood, but until either the Parent or someone who can notify the HOA of the offender, the pool will remain closed.

If the person or persons that made the mess are willing to clean it up, no other action will be taken for this incident and the pool will be re-opened.  I am sure, as responsible parents, any discipline required will be applied at home.

The pool will remain padlocked until such time as someone steps forward and make amends, meaning, is willing to clean up the mess that they have made.
