Sprinkler Winterization

It is very important to winterize your system every year. Winterization protects your sprinkler heads and pipes against freezing during the winter. When you winterize your system, it's best to attach a compressor to your irrigation lines and remove the water out of your pipes and your heads. Winterizing will increase the life of your sprinkler system and cut down on those pesky Spring repairs!

ABOUT WINTERIZATION

You should unplug your timer for the winter season. Your master valve for your irrigation system should be turned off. Leave it off for the winter season.

SPRING START-UP IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3:

1. Turn your master valve back on.
2. Plug your timer in. (This is a good time to change your back-up battery).
3. Program your timer and adjust and check heads to make sure there are no clogs or cracks
